Why Deviation
is the ‘Meaning of Life’

When the System Shows Signs of Cracking

We are witnessing an era in which the foundations of our collective order are no longer merely unstable – they are visibly eroding. The social fabric, particularly in Germany, is showing deep cracks and is beginning to crumble in plain sight. Anyone who, in this phase of decay, attempts to cling rigidly to old structures is acting with gross negligence.

It is akin to attempting to remain in a building whose structural integrity has already failed and whose ceiling could collapse at any moment. Amidst this systemic fragility, an existential question arises: How can one lead a sovereign and successful life when conventional social norms no longer offer security, but instead become a deadly trap?

The trap of social norms: when security becomes a danger

In times of growth, social norms function as reliable and convenient conventions that organise our coexistence. Yet we must understand: these norms are not universal truths, but merely trends of the times and cultural standards – interpersonal conventions.

However, when a system built on such agreements crosses the point of no return and collapses, these very norms lose their relevance for coping with real life. Anyone who continues to slavishly adhere to these outdated rules will go down with the edifice. Anyone who wishes to live with sovereignty must now turn their gaze away from crumbling social conventions and reflect on the fundamental, timeless, universally valid principles of life.

“It is extremely dangerous to remain within a system that is currently crumbling. It is akin to sitting in a building that is collapsing right above you.”

“Hero Mode”: Cognitive Liberation Instead of the Dopamine Trap

To avoid ending up as a passive victim in this upheaval, a rigorous mental strategy is required: “Hero Mode”.

The greatest obstacle to individual sovereignty today is collective cognitive erosion. We are battling a massive dopamine addiction, fuelled by social media and the phenomenon of ‘brain rot’ – that state of mental exhaustion and cognitive depletion which makes it impossible for individuals to develop clear strategies, remain focused and create anything truly new.

Hero Mode is the protocol for regaining the ability to act. It is not merely a theory, but a matter of applied self-mastery. Through tools such as a rigorous bullet journal (or logbook) and the use of ‘binaural beats’ – specific frequencies that alleviate cravings and create cognitive clarity – ‘Hero Mode’ becomes a genuine tool in difficult times. In a world of total distraction, uncompromising focus is the first step towards liberation.

Agent vs. Structure – Why You Are Not a Well

A central element of this life strategy is the distinction between ‘structure’ and ‘agent’. Structure is the static clockwork of the world, the architecture of being – comparable to a well or a house. These elements are valuable as they form the framework of space and time, yet they are passive.

A well may echo the cry of a kitten that has fallen into it, but it cannot act. It remains rigid in its form. Human beings, on the other hand, are conceived as ‘agents’: active, self-willed beings capable of interaction and intervention. We are not here to be mere components of a rigid mechanism. Our destiny is to intervene actively in the fabric of space-time as acting subjects and to bring vitality to the lifeless structure.

The Sacred Deviation: Deviance as the Key to Vitality

The meaning of life is not revealed through conformity to a precisely running clockwork mechanism, but through conscious deviation. This ‘deviance’ is the true driving force behind vitality. Those who limit themselves to merely functioning for the sake of resources such as money and food allow themselves to be reduced to ‘tools of utility’. Such a person is “reduced to mere survival” – they exist, but they do not live; they are neither self-determined nor awake.

True vitality arises only through the courage to deviate from the prescribed, crumbling paths. By adding our individual touch to the whole, we fulfil our role in the cosmos. We are here to imbue the rigid structure with a living quality through our actions and experiences.

Our special characteristic as beings is:
We introduce deviation into this marvellous clockwork, this space-time structure. It is the key to being alive.

And our own individual will is the compass that guides where this deviation should lead. So that we do not run around in circles aimlessly and in complete confusion, there are a few clear ground rules in the game of life, a few tools, comparable to a compass and a map when we are travelling in the real world.

Putting your own stamp on life

True success means wholeheartedly reclaiming the role of an active agent. It is a matter of shedding the identity of a mere ‘cog in the machine’ and ceasing to function as a cog in a collapsing machinery. A successful life is characterised by leaving an individual mark on the world from the depths of one’s heart. Deviating from the norm is the only form of security that endures in times of upheaval.

Are you ready to leave behind the former security of the crumbling edifice in order to rediscover your own vitality?
